Class 3 at a glance

What students do, and what they prove.

Showcase build03

Light-Up Sorting Box

A light-up sorting box where a picture model suggests a side and a child checks before the light goes on.

Learning check. Point to the input and output of a circuit, fix a step card, and show one mistake a machine made.

Individual check. Every learner, on their own: “Show the switch and say what it does.”

Entry task

Follow a two-step instruction and sort picture cards by colour or shape.

Robotics core

Enclosed battery packs, switches, lights and buzzers, simple mechanisms and unplugged robot games.

AI layer

AI around me, patterns, learning from examples, confident mistakes and keeping personal details private.

Code & tools

Unplugged algorithms with arrow and step cards. Picture card sets, Battery-pack light and buzzer modules, Teachable Machine (teacher-led).

Cross-subject link

Sorting, patterns, counting, measuring and simple tally charts.

Scaffolding

Pre-wired modules with enclosed battery packs, picture task cards and spoken answers. No coin cells and no tools.

How AI meets hardware here

Human in the loop. The teacher runs any AI tool and a child decides what happens next.

Class 3 project sequence

Sixteen projects, four blocks of twenty sessions.

Each block follows the same pattern: two builds, one AI project, then one integrated project. Open any project to see its five sessions.
